Volleyball is back for 2023 at MWVA!

We hope everyone has had a well-deserved break and family time over the last month. We are now gearing up for the start of the volleyball year! In this email you will find information about the social competitions, social training and junior program.

GAMES & COMPETITIONS

MWVA Open House
Dust off those kneepads, here is your first chance to get on the court for the year!


Where: Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre
What: New and returning players of all ages and experience levels are welcome for some friendly games. Our coaches will help teams who are looking for players and players who are looking for teams find each other!
When: Sunday 29th January from 5.30pm

Cromer Social Competition
Division 1 Mixed Adult Social Competition


Where: Cromer Community Centre
When: Wednesday, 1st February from 7.30pm
Team submissions: Thursday Competition Team Entry Form (jotform.com) (entries close Wednesday, 25th January)

Sunday Social Competition
All levels Mixed Social Competition for both junior and adult teams


Where: Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre
When: Sunday, 5th February from 5.30pm
Team submissions: 2023 Autumn Mixed NBISC Competition (jotform.com) (entries close Wednesday, 25th January)

TRAININGS

Thursday Adult Social Training
Appropriate for players of all levels want to build their volleyball skills (digging, setting, hitting, serving), positioning and improving knowledge of gameplay.


Where: Cromer Community Centre
When: Every Thursday at 8pm, starting 2nd February NOTE: No training every FOURTH Thursday of every month or during school holidays.

Thursday Junior Social Training
Suitable for new, beginner and intermediate players who are 16 years and younger. This training focuses on building basic skills (digging, setting, hitting, serving) and improving knowledge of gameplay.


Where: Cromer Community Centre
When: Thursdays during Term 1 at 6.45pm, starting 2nd February. NOTE: No training every FOURTH Thursday of every month or during school holidays.

Sunday Junior Program
This is a term-based program, running for 10 weeks during each school term. Suitable for players aged under 19 years, wanting to learn and develop their skills in a friendly game environment.

When: Every Sunday during school term at 4.00pm, starting 6th February
